Booking Terms & Conditions

Reservation Confirmation:

  • A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required upon booking to secure your place. This deposit confirms your reservation and guarantees your spot on the retreat.

  • Full payment is required within 30 days of order date (Option 1) or by 30th December 2025 (Option 2)

  • Please note that the package does not include flights or transfers.

  • Unless stated otherwise in the retreat details, participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the retreat location.

Payment Options:

  • Option 1 - £250 Deposit + Balance in Full:
    After receiving your deposit, we will contact you to arrange full balance payment, which is due one month after the deposit is made.
    The full balance must be paid within 30 days of order date.

  • Option 2 - £250 Deposit + 4 Equal Payments:
    After receiving your deposit, we will contact you to arrange a payment plan.
    Payments will be set up via standing order, starting 2 months after the deposit is made.
    These will consist of 4 equal payments, excluding the deposit. The full balance must be paid by 30th December 2025.

  • Late Payments:
    Option 1 - Failure to make payments on time and pay the full balance within 30 days of order date, may result in loss of any promotional discounts and the cancellation of your booking, without the possibility of a refund.
    Option 2 - Failure to make payments on time and pay the full balance by 30th December 2025, may result in cancellation of your booking, without the possibility of a refund.

Cancellations and Refunds:

  • The £250 deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made by participants.

  • However, if unforeseen circumstances arise, we will attempt to fill your spot with another participant. If successful, a refund may be offered by mutual agreement.

  • Alternatively, you may sell or transfer your reserved space to another individual. Please inform us of any transfer arrangements in advance.

Transfer of Reservation:

  • If you wish to transfer your reservation to another person, please notify us in advance. Transfer requests are subject to approval by Merkabah Magical Retreats.

Communication:

  • Please inform us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your reservation. Prompt communication allows us to attempt to fill your space and minimize potential losses.

Exceptional Circumstances:

  • In rare cases of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, government advisories), Merkabah Magical Retreats reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the retreat. In such cases, participants will be provided with alternative options.

Changes and Amendments:

  • Any changes or amendments to your reservation must be communicated to us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your request, subject to availability and additional charges, if applicable.

Travel Insurance:

  • We strongly recommend that all participants obtain travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions.

Health and Medical Conditions:

  • Participants are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness levels to ensure they can fully participate in retreat activities. Please inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking.

  • Whilst Merkabah Magical Retreats does aim to provide a physical, mental and emotional rest for our guests, we are strictly not a mental health facility and do not offer specific professional, clinical or therapeutic mental health provision or services.

    Our offerings and services are provided to explore your own personal attitudes, ideas about the world and our communities which are led and facilitated by experienced practitioners. However these facilitators and offerings do not diagnose, treat, or propose any results or guaranteed benefit to individuals who are experiencing physical or mental health challenges.

    Merkabah Magical Retreats recognises that some people whilst on retreat with us might reflect on their current mental health or reflect on past experiences and this, in some circumstances might be difficult or worrying. Whilst we do everything we can to support our guests, staff and volunteers we would encourage you, to make an open and honest assessment about your mental health and whether a stay at Merkabah Magical Retreats is the right thing at the right time for you and your mental and physical health. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the suitability of our retreat.

    It remains your sole responsibility to consult with the appropriate healthcare provider in case of an underlying medical condition, physical or mental before you book a stay. One you have booked your reservation will fall under our normal booking terms and conditions.

    In no event whatsoever will Merkabah Magical Retreats be held liable for any damages sustained for failure to heed the above and any other precautionary or medical advice. Should you not accept or agree with any of the above terms, it is strictly forbidden to avail of the services provided. By accessing and purchasing any services via this or any ancillary platform, you declare your full acceptance and understanding of this disclaimer.

    Medical consultation services and recommendations are not included in the provided offerings. Safe and appropriate application of the services is the sole and exclusive responsibility of yourself as the retreat guest. You are expected to take part in our offerings or services through the provided instructions, if any. Merkabah Magical Retreats will strictly not be held responsible for any physical injury, emotional losses or triggering of mental health episodes and you hereby accept sole responsibility for any losses suffered through your application of any offerings related to emotional wellness techniques or physical exertion.

    You embark on any offerings or practices at your own risk.

    By attending a retreat from Merkabah Magical Retreats, you hereby agree to hold Merkabah Magical Retreats harmless before any applicable court of law and waive your right to hold the same accountable for losses suffered from the proper or improper application of information, instruction, and offerings received and/or practiced.

Liability:

  • Merkabah Magical Retreats and its organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience caused during the retreat. Participants join the retreat at their own risk and are responsible for their personal belongings and well-being throughout the retreat.

By making a reservation with Merkabah Magical Retreats, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please don't hesitate to contact us.
